I got a hold of a small box of some deadstock "Expect the Max" CD's that came out in 2006 from ma boi Chuck Vanderbilt recently. It could be argued that this is the best sounding Treasure Mammal album of all time.
Here is a review of the album
Venezuelan Abelardo Gil's solo project Treasure Mammal (he's no longer with original drummer Nick Kroll) is the soundtrack to your next DMT trip. Collages of noises, samples, and Casio keyboards bubble to the top like some sort of John Zorn or Mike Patton bastard side
project. Occasionally as abrasive as Atari Teenage Riot with thickly distorted blast beats and keyboards, Treasure Mammal isn't afraid to tear down any barrier, exploring new territory seemingly with each song. Drug users be wary, this might be too mindblowing to use as the backdrop to your next heavy trip.
